Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act (FOIPA or FOIA/PA)
FOIPA is the means by which you can obtain information from your applicant file and other files of the FBI.
Here is a sample FOIPA request that I filed with the FBI. Unfortunately, the response I got was minimal and a lawsuit may be necessary.
A FOIPA request may be made by way of a letter as well, and I will provide samples to use.
